Simon Frick - Distribution
What do you do at Oriola?
Head of Production at Enköping Distribution Centre.
Describe a day in your life!
Early start in the morning, combining commuting, work and breakfast on the train between Stockholm and Enköping. In addition to commitments and meeting calls, it is important to establish an idea of the day’s production conditions and to see how everyone is doing and whether someone needs support.
I find energy in more than one place. Such as exercise, activities, friends and partying... or why not watch a movie in bed with a large bowl of sweets.
I use the way home to relax, finish that last email and evaluate the day. How the evening ends is not always decided, but is usually spent with friends or family at high speed.
How do you use your expertise in your work?
I started as a consultant picker at the warehouse a bunch of years ago, and my journey through different roles and changes in the organisation is something I always carry along. Combined with positive energy, momentum, new ideas and perspectives, my experiences become very valuable.
What does health mean to you?
For me health is all about balance between a fun job and fun free time – this usually takes a good amount of planning and discipline.
What do you do to restore your energy?
It varies, but for me it works best with contrasts. I have taught myself to find energy in more than one place, such as exercise, activities, friends and partying...or why not watch a movie in bed with a large bowl of sweets.
