Jennie Tomberg - Customer service
What do you do at Oriola?
I work in customer service and I’m loving it! During the pandemic, we have worked from home which has been completely different, and it actually works well! However, I miss my colleagues and our fika-breakes very much. Even though we work well digitally, I miss the contact that takes place outside the computer or phone.
In customer service, we have combined our large customer groups healthcare and pharmacies into one group, which gives us in the team very wide area to support in.
Our customer service is very varied and almost every day I still learn something new.
Nothing is the same since I started about 30 years ago. The organization has developed in all areas. If that sounds exciting to you - join us and make sure to keep up!
The knowledgeone and the way of working is instructive and really fun.
Describe a day in your life!
I am a morning person, so the majority of my day starts with reading my two morning newspapers (I know, it's not that environmental-friendly) served with coffee and breakfast. After that, I go out and go for a walk before I "go" to work. Then it’s full speed ahead in the support role you're assigned for the day.
The children moved out just in time for me to get an office space here at home when, as soon as the pandemic started, we started working from home full-time. It's good to be able to close the door to work when you leave work, in order to get distance.
After the working day is over, I either work out or I take a walk. I need to feel like I'm going to and from work - especially now that the job is at home. Then, of course, I like to meet friends and be with my family as much as possible.
How do you use your expertise in your work?
Well, tricky questions appear on a daily basis at our customer service and the more knowledge you have, the more confident you feel in your work role.
In a slightly larger team, some training for my colleagues is always needed and our digital aids are absolutely fantastic way to use both whether it is to one person or a group to show/share something.
What do you do to restore your energy?
Definitely going outside and walking in the forest. If you live in the small town of Enköping in Sweden, you are close to both restaurants and nature. My little hobby is to make my own skin creams and cerat from olive oil and beeswax and mix with essential oils. It takes time and smells amazing throughout the house when I´m crafting.
Relaxing I do best in the jacuzzi with a glass of champagne!
What does health mean to you?
Health for me is to feel good both on the inside and the outside. I like to work out and move my body in e.g. a spinning class. When we work at home it is even more important to me.
Is there anything you would like to say to future colleagues?
