Ms. Anne Kariniemi Appointed as Vice President, Logistics and Sourcing, of Oriola-KD Corporation

Oriola-KD Corporation Stock Exchange Release 11 October 2006 at 10.00 a.m.

Ms. Anne Kariniemi, M.Sc. (Eng.), 35 years, has been appointed Vice President,
Logistics and Sourcing of Oriola-KD Corporation. Ms. Kariniemi will start in
her new position on January 15, 2007 and will be a member of the Oriola-KD
Group Management Team. Ms. Kariniemi has a long and wide background of
logistics and she joins Oriola-KD from Onninen Oy where she held the position
of Senior Vice President, Logistics. Before that she served in Nokia Mobile
Phones as Logistics Manager.
